Yesssss I’ve heard of the podcast. Did you hear about the fiction adaptation of her story and that America Ferreira is cast as lead in the screen adaptation?
Yes! I’m not sure how to feel about it. Hopefully they will do her justice and can be more forthright now that Andre is dead, but there has been such a big effort to move the focus away from her death and toward her life and work—hopefully this show won’t derail that.
I agree. I hope this means I get to see some of her work in person, I imagine a travelling art exhibition will be prepared in tandem with the book or movie. Although, it’s always sad to see the success come posthumously 🥲
